The Shore of Unspoken
Created in a group of six as part of my studies at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria this short movie won the local Youki Award 2018.
The Shore of Unspoken features a young dancer struggling with her career in an ecstase of motion and sound.
SYNOPSIS:
A young woman realises that she has to make a lot of sacrifices for her big dream of becoming a professional dancer. Receiving no support from her friends and family, she is torn between her big dream and the desire for security and approval. Are all the sacrifices worth it?
The Shore of Unspoken is a hybrid short film that combines real footage, full-CGI scenes and motion capture.
This film was created as part of our semester project in the 4th semester at the University of Applied Sciences, Campus Hagenberg.

Behind the Scenes
While everyone was involved in nearly every part of the film, we did split up the main tasks.
Mine was the motion capture of our wonderful dancer Eszter Petrány as well as Simulating and Rendering the 3D part.
